It is important that your wife has regular mammograms and she should keep copies of each of her reports. If you should move or she decides to got elsewhere for her mammograms she should take her reports with her and if possible the films, which are usually given on CD these days. This allows the radiologist to compare the films to note if there are any changes, especially something that is increasing in size this helps them detect cancer early.

Calcifications are fairly common .
