Not sure what stage your cancer is at, yes caffeine can cause breast problems. It takes a while for the breast to recover from a biop. Talk with your Dr about all of this, join a breast cancer support group. The more you know the more you can help yourself stay healthy and know your treatment options. Stress may not help dealing with the cancer, not sure about it growing though. I would want the tumor removed if it was malignant. I am a breast and ovarian cancer survivor, i made it with a positive attitude, great family and friends to support me, and great trust in all my Dr’s.

I had stage 2 Breast Cancer 6 1/2 years ago. Your breast is sore probably because of the inflamation from the biopsy. No, it will not make your cancer grow bigger if you’re mad. You are not doing anything wrong. Just take care of yourself, and listen to your doctors. It’s been 6 1/2 years and I’m doing great!

I am not sure what type 2 breast cancer refers too. Grade 2 or Stage 2 perhaps.

Either way, caffeine will have not direct effect on you cancer, and I have not heard the anger affects breast cancer at all. There are some studies that show depression has a negative affect on all health problems. Are you certain you doctor said not to get mad? Was it someone else, like a lay person, or nontraditional healer?

Breast biopsies certainly can cause pain. It may take a couple of weeks or so for the soreness to go away. If you are having severe pain you ought to see your surgeon, as that could be a sign of infection.

Do you mean type 2 or stage 2 cancer. Stress can influence your cancer and your body’s ability to deal with it in a negative way.
It is normal for your breasts to be tender and sore after a biopsy, for a few days. Is the biopsy site red and swollen, is there any drainage? If so it may be infected which can make them sore. If it is infected you need to see the doctor right away. With any cancer there can be pain.
There were studies that linked caffeine to breast cancer, those women drank pots of coffee, so if you only drink a couple of cups a day that is not really bad. Also it depends on the meds they are using. If you need chemo and are nauseated/vomiting the coffee can be irritating and make it eve more unpleasant.
