Recent study proves that cutting your fat content intake is the same percentage treatment as chemo!…
    I also during my chemo..
drank one V8 juice One Slim Fast and ate One banana a day…

I had mastectomy positive lymph nodes…

Back at work in a week..

During Taxol and all chemo did noand six weeks of Radiation treatments I did no miss one day of work and I work in the ER…first person people come up to when they are sick and needing to see a Doc..

During the Taxol treatments I did get real real tired…and real cold at night…kept extra blankets by the bed…
Lost all my hair, eyebrows, eyelashes…
    Got a Racquel Welch wig..

Second Mastectomy a year later I chose to do because they found a lump in it…was benign.

I had aggressive chemo for lung cancer. Before starting the chemo and all thru it I used isolated whey protein powder. It helped me put weight on during the chemo and kept my energy at a pretty good level. Before using anything tho, be sure to check with your onc. I don’t know if whey would interfere with your estrogen levels… I really only research lung cancers.
I also did, and still do eat a balanced diet of 80% aalkaline to 20% aacidic. If you would like you can email me and I will send a chart to your email.

I had a lot of trouble with many foods while I was doing chemo as it can alter the way foods taste and you can get mouth sores. I found the only foods that tasted normal were eggs, potatoes and tomatoes. There was a smoothie place across the street from my oncologists office and I’d often stop there for a blueberry smoothies.

I got a lot of info from pamphlets at Cancer Care Manitoba’s patient resoure centre – their lending library. I found a couple of really good books but they’re at home right now. They explain what cells do, what foods are needed for proper nutrition and foods that prevent or fight cancer. You might find this information from your doctor or Cancer Care network or on the web. The gentleman that answered my question suggested a site called something like WebMD. There is a lot of really good info available if you want to check it out & some have recipes. Good luck
