The sidewalks were very icy and she slipped, fell and lost consciousness. Of course, she was taken to the ER and there they did a chest x-ray because she was bruised. When the radiologist looked at it, he found a lump in her breast. She was sent for a mammogram right away and from there and Oncologist. As it turned out, that accident saved her life. She was not due for a mammogram for 8 mo. The tumor was malignant and spreading very fast. At the rate it was spreading, by the time she would have had cancer all over her breast and who knows where else. Momma always said, "Things happen for a reason, even though we can't see it at the time." Isn't that the truth. Be blessed

Absolutely, A few years back, my older sister was walking to work. The sidewalks were very icy and she slipped, fell and lost consciousness.
